Our goal is to provide an elevated, personalized experience tailored just for you. *For best results, schedule your spray tan 2 - 3 days before your event!* Here are a few important tips that will help with your spray tan application and longevity: Week of your tan: ⁃ Drink lots of water + try to moisturize your skin twice a day ⁃ Complete all beauty treatments (facials, mani/pedi, massage, etc.) and stop the use of anti-aging products, including retinoids (like tretinoin/Retin-A) or exfoliating treatments. If you are currently using prescription treatments such as tretinoin, Accutane, or any other active skincare products, these can make the skin more sensitive and may impact how your tan develops. It’s best to pause use of these products on areas you wish to tan for at least 48-72 hours before your appointment (consult your dermatologist if needed). ⁃ Evening before: wax/shave any unwanted hair + exfoliate your entire body (I recommend just using an exfoliating mitt or cloth). Avoid Dove + Olay products and oil based scrubs such as Tree Hut - these leave a film on the skin Day of your tan: ⁃ Shower in lukewarm water at least 4 hours before your spray tan ⁃ Do not apply lotions, body creams, deodorants, perfumes, or makeup prior to your appointment ⁃ Wear dark, loose fitting clothing (sweat/pajama pants, loose long sleeve shirt or oversized t-shirt, open toe sandals). ⁃ Hours following your tan: avoid all moisture including sweating and skin to skin contact until initial rinse time
